Jhoots Pharmacy was one of the first outlets to open its doors in the new Village Centre over the summer.

Founded in the West Midlands in 2002, the company now boasts 45 stores nationwide. Acquisitions Director, Sarbjit Jhooty, who is also opening outlets in Cleveland, explained his reasons for coming to Hull: “When I visit new areas of interest for my business, I see which locations catch my eye as I drive
around.

“Kingswood Parks is a great up-and-coming location with the scope for further services to be provided to the growing community. Jhoots pharmacies are built on offering quality products, great customer service and value for money. I believe we can add real depth to the amenities here in north Hull.”

Jhoots Pharmacy has built a reputation for being a community pharmacy since it was established. The pharmacy prides itself on its training and development of its staff and offers a range of Essential, Advanced and Enhanced NHS Services as operated by the Local Commissioners.

It has previously worked with colleges in the local area to ensure all its staff are Customer Service NVQ-accredited, so Kingswood residents can be assured they will receive the highest levels of
customer service in the local village pharmacy.

Kingswood Parks, which was voted ‘The best place to live in Hull’ in a 2006 poll, continues to grow in popularity. This is due largely to the thriving leisure and retail parks offering everything from shopping to cinema, bowling, gymnasium, bars and restaurants.

The vision for the Village Centre is to see a real community, with local services for residents set in a picturesque environment, a village green and public square. A pharmacy was one of the things residents wanted most of all for their community, and Jhoots fulfils that requirement.

“Jhoots should prove to be ideal for visitors to the health centre, who can take the short walk to us with their prescription to get their goods,” continued Mr Jhooty.
